There are three important steps for any Hipster looking to launch their own venture

First up - wardrobe and sytle essentials. You'll need a pair of wide-frame glasses, a beard, skinny jeans, a beanie and a T-shirt displaying a wolf howling on the at the moon.

Second, choose among one of the follonwing enterprises: grow and can your own organic vegetables, repair fixed gear bicycles, hand make allergen free soaps or whip up and authentic, artisan baked good or cheese.

Finally, no Hipster business would be complete without its very own Hipster Logo. Thankfully, graphic designer Tim Delger created a step-by-step guide to crafting a sleep hipster symbol any purveyor or craftsman would be proud of.

Once you nail down a name and a color scheme, Deleger's guide will help you hack your way to a hipster logo in no time. By combining icons and banners, with keywords and type face the business branding process will be a breeze.

For years, researchers have been trying to determine how the creative mind works and how people can become more innovative. This quote from psychologist and author R. Keith Sawyer offers an answer.

In and interview with Time's Franchine Russo, Sawyer reminds us that creativity isn't about luck, inherent creative genes, or special eureka moments, but rather, hard work and habits. His advice:

Take risks, and expect to make lots of mistakes, because creativity is a numbers game. Work hard, and take frequent breaks, but stay with it over time. Do what you love, because creative breakthroughs take years of hardwork. Develop a network of colleagues, and schedule time for freewheeling, unstructured discussions. Most of all, forget those romantic myths that creativity is all about being artsy and gifted and not about hard work. They discourage us because we're waiting for that one full-blown moment of inspiration. And while we're waiting, we may never start working on what we might someday create.

"As I don't know about tomorrow I never save the best for later."
Paul Coelho

"One day, after some petty humiliation, I came home in tears. My mother sat me down and told me, in a voice I thought of as a her 'telephone voice' (meaning reserved for grown-ups), that I should ignore the girls [from school]; the only reason they were treating me poorly was because they were jealous of me. There I should ignore the chattering crowds and set my own course."

For you to become successful in life, there are certain rules you ought not to break. Life is governed by principles, and it's those principles that we embrace that determine whether or not we will attain greatness. Aboyami Jegede of Lifehack looked at the lives of certain greatmen and came up with 13 rules that high achievers never break.
  1. Don't act the way you are feeling. Instead, act the way you want to feel.
  2. Make peace with your past so that it won't screw up with your present.
  3. Don't answer ads that promise get-rich-schemes because it won't be you who gets rich quick.
  4. You can't
  5. Don't compare your life to others and don't judge them; you have no idea what their journey is.
  6. do everything yourself, so get help along the way.
  7. Don't envy what others have; you don't know how they got it.
  8. If you can't say anything nice, don't say.
  9. Be comfortable only outside of your comfort zone.
  10. If you are going to jump off a bridge, make sure you know how deep the water is.
  11. Change only what you can change and let go of the rest.
  12. What others think of you is none of your business.
  13. Never test the depth of the river with both feet.
  14. Honesty is a very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people.
Better focus brings about better results. On one interesting study submitted to Harvard Business School, it's clearly stated that over 30 years, under the guiding principle that dedicated attention to a small set of related tasks greatly improves performance and brings about the rewards of having focus.

Check out this infographic on focus. It's super cool.

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
Marilyn Monroe

"...I received some great advice form Marshall Goldsmith, one of the preeminent authorities in the field of leadership. He told me this: 'If you want to be an effective leader, listen and accept with humility the feedback that comes from your team.'"

"The most fundamental commitment you have to make as a leader is to humbly listen to the input of others, take is seriously, and work to improve. Again, it sounds simple, but it's not easy. Leadership, as Marshall always says, is a contact sport, and one has to constantly ask for and respond to advice from  colleagues so you can improve."

Introverts and extroverts have different personality, and they should be treated differently. How should you as an introvert treat an extrovert? Or how should you as and extrovert take care of an introvert? The following tips will help you.

Its a strong person to pretend everything is all right when its not. It takes an even stronger person to admit its all gone to hell and ask for help.

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about about love -- for in the face of aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you from misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world"

On my daily tours of Behance I come across a lot of interesting redesign concepts. One of them caught my attention. It is a redesign of Facebook.

Facebook being the largest social social network in the world is in need of some serious makeover. Designer Monish from India saw that need and sought to address it.

His design is cool, minimalistic and has some traces of flat design here and there. Words cannot really fully describe it, here is the design itself.

Buffer started as a simple web a pp for buffering your tweets to be sent out throughout the say automatically.

The idea was that not every part of the day is perfect to tweet, and also that sending to many tweets one after the other might put off your followers. Such things don't sound personal use, but if you are tweeting on your companies behalf then it's a different story.

Buffer has grown a lot since then and lets you manage your Twitter, Facebook and Linked in accounts, all at the same time. But the best part is that Buffer offers apps for iOS, Android, browser extensions and is even integrated into many other services across the web, like: Pocket, Feedly, Instapaper, and most recent Followerwonk.

My Darling grandmother told me: "Whenever you meet anybody, look for something nice to say about them, because even if they've got a hideous face they might have fantastic ankles or lovely hair, and complements to cheer up people enormously." She did cheer people up and I wanted to emulate her.

"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you to their level and then beat you with experience."

It's not always easy to tie a desk and tech gear into a multifunction room, but this small yet bright apartment does it gorgeously.

The space is a study in contrasts. It appears at once modern and comfortable, thanks to the   mix of rich textures, simple colors, and clean lines. Here's a shot of the workspace alone:

"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of the rules. And they have no respect for status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify of vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

A lot of people ask me how I knew Man Men or Breaking Bad would make great TV. I know because I read those scripts, I felt something. I didn't do any market testing or focus groups -- I just asked myself, would I want to watch this? When you are weighing an opportunity, make the question that simple: Do I really want this, or am I doing it for the money or the prestige or because I think I should? It can't just be about those things. It has to make you feel good, too. And by the way, if opportunities aren't knocking, you can make your own. When I was looking for work several years ago, I took everyone I knew in NewYork, where I'd just moved, to dinner or drinks or tea. I explained that I was open to anything. Six months later, one of those dinner dates called about a possible job at AMC. If I hadn't put myself out there, that never would have happened.

If you are going to make music on your desktop, you can't make it look much better than this. Flickr user Caroline di Paola combined blacks, whites, and lots of lights and knobs to create a stylish and futuristic audio mixing workspace.

Audio equipment has a habit of looking ugly, but  a few devices can fix that problem. Caroline found quite a few exceptions in the Numark Mixtrack, Lexicon IONIX, and some simple black and white studio monitors. Not that you should pick you equipment based in aesthetics but it doesn't hurt your workspace when you do.

Beer and coffee, where would man be without these two drinks. They are part of life, coffee starts up our days and beer? Well beer ends up our weeks, beer is there when we are stressed and lost, it's there during the good and the bad times. Recently there has been a growing culture among start-ups, where beer is available partially to maintain a casual, happy environment in office, it cab also help foster creativity and improve coworker social connections.

However a question may come up, how do this two affect us. While beer can loosen your inhibitions and make you mire creative, it can also shorten your memory and decrease your focus. On the other hand, coffee provides you with energy and improve your focus.

So, when you are trying to come up with a good idea, grab a beer and coffee it up once you have your idea and are ready to get to work.

"The secret to manifest anything that you desire is your willingness and ability to realign yourself so that your inner world is in harmony with the power of intention."

Pegboards are wonderful tools for organizing all sorts of things. You can even use one to upgrade one wall of your office for a display and accessorizing system you can easily switch up whenever you want.

Flickr user travisdodson doesn't have much on his wall (though in the back you can see a room full of gear neatly organizes on  pegboard). Still, it's not hard to see how you could hang clipboards, photo frames, accessories for your many computers, and even plants on that versatile wall.

"If you can imagine it,  you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it."

William Arthur Ward.
When you go to bed, do you just lay down in any position and pass out, or do you need to be in an exact position with your pillows and blankets? You may already know how you fall asleep best and how your partner tends to slumber, but do you know how to categorize your sleep style? While most people only think of those who pass out on their back, stomach or side, there is a whole world of variation in each of these.

Here are some of the different types of sleepers.

It's amazing how men and women to things differently and what better way to show it but through their use of social media.

This info-graphic seeks to show how men and women use social networks, what content they focus on and how much they spend online.

"It's not who who are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not."

--Denis Waitely

Have you ever found yourself hyped up for a new project or a program? You get started with fill steam, and about two-thirds of the way through, you start lagging. You lose interest, meet some stumbling blocks, and think, "Maybe I should just throw this project out."

Worry not, you are not alone. Following through is one of the most challenging tasks, specifically when it comes to something you are doing for yourself.

Here are some three tricks to help your follow-through on your goals

1. Decide If you Really Want It:

This is a tough one. There are things we think we want, and then there are things we really want. Imagine you say to yourself, "I want to start taking Zumba classes." Yet you don't follow through. When you don't follow through you need to ask yourself if you really want it. If you just say you want it because your friend is doing it, or because you read somewhere that it's fun, then you won't have the inner motivation to take action. However when the motivation comes from withing, the desire to take action is a lot stronger. Basically, you need to get honest with yourself, and decide if you are intrinsically motivated to take action, or if it is merely something you think you should be doing.

2. Wash Fear Aside:

Once you establish that you want it, you may still encounter fear. You may think, "I really want to try Zumba, but I am afraid I will look silly... or, what it I don't know what I'm doing?" Those are the old fear patterns that are bound to come up. When you REALLY want something, the want must overpower the fear. This is where giving yourself a pep-talk works wonders to get you to take action, despite the fear. This is project YOU. Decide to give yourself as much care and attention you would to your job. There will never be a magic pill to get you to take action. Life it too precious to not follow your dreams.

3. Schedule it in:

Once you have decided that you want something and you are ready to take action, you need to make sure you take action. Not all things can  happen right now, in this moment. If they can, get to it! Otherwise, you must schedule it in your calendar, the same way you do a doctors appointment.
